The hottest truth at the moment is this - Al Gore wins the ultimate prize, the Nobel Peace Prize. This is culmination of awards (probably) for this fine gentleman after having recently won an Emmy and an Oscar.
This former Vice President of the US, who lost narrowly (and questionably) to Bush in 2000, was one of the early dissenters against the Iraq war. That alone should make him the peace mascot, but what overwhelmingly comes in his favor is the fact that he chose to use his time and stature to do something we rarely take seriously in the public life - environment.
A good show Gore, but yeh dil maange more;
So hope you choose to run and maybe the ultimate award is yet to come!
