If you love Starbucks, then apart from the coffee, you’d have liked their selection of music.
And if you like music, chances are that you have/want an iPhone …
Well, these two worlds just met in a very interesting sort of ways in the US this week, wherein iPhone users can can download the songs they hear over the speakers of the cafe directly onto their device. To begin with, this applies to select stores, but am sure the program would be expanded agressively, by both the companies. Well, Coffee and Cigarettes may or may not go together, but music and coffee sure do.
Well back home in India, Airtel has a service called as “Songcatcher” - Where you dial a number whenever you hear some music anywhere, point your phone towards the source and get the same as your “caller tune” immediately. Hutch (now Vodafone) is even more innovative. You are calling someone, and like their caller tune, just press “*” and the same song gets copied as your caller tune.
Can we copy a song from a friend’s heart? Soon, I guess … Sigh ….
