If you are a SRK fan, then you will be disappointed to note that in the movie:
- He is not in a school/college playing basketball/baseball with gals half his age who are in half-the-regulation-size skirts
- He does not finish school to return home in a helicopter in a black suit with his expectant mother singing a song, holding an aarti for him while feeding him gajjar ka halwa all at the same time
- He doesnot have two heroines, one for the songs in the movie and the other for the songs in the dream sequences in the movie
Also, if you are familiar with the Hollywood ishtyle sports masala movies, with one coach joining the team and making all the difference, this movie follows the same scripted path. However what is refreshing is the Indian regional milieu and the understated Shar Rukh.
